Directed by acclaimed London-based filmmaker Adam Wimpenny (The Investigator, Roar, Hotel Portofino), the video captures Christmas in a powerful performance, showcasing the same emotional depth and passion that endeared her to millions during her winning run on BGT.
Starlight Express, originally from the iconic Andrew Lloyd Webber musical of the same name, has been given a fresh spin by Sydnie after receiving public praise from Lloyd Webber himself. Following her show-stopping performance of the track earlier this year on Instagram, the legendary composer encouraged her to release her own version.

Sydnie, who previously starred in Starlight Express in Germany, shared her deep connection with the song: “Starlight Express means hope and light to me. It resonated so deeply that I felt compelled to record it. When Andrew Lloyd Webber told me I should release it, I couldn’t believe it—it’s a dream come true.”
In celebration of her BGT victory and the upcoming album, Sydnie is also set to embark on her first-ever headline tour. The My Way Tour kicks off in Gateshead on October 5th, 2024, and will take her to prestigious venues across the UK, marking another incredible milestone in the rising star’s career.
