Singer-songwriter Rhian Aoun’s latest single, Why?, serves as a poignant introduction to her upcoming album—a deeply personal exploration of heartbreak and resilience. Despite its brevity, the song sets the emotional tone for the eight-track journey that follows, drawing listeners into Rhian’s raw and relatable world. Written with striking honesty, Why? reflects the vulnerability and questions that linger after love is lost. The album, inspired by Rhian’s own experiences, took a year to create, with seamless production by SB90 and a captivating music video filmed by District Down Under. Rhian hopes that through her music, listeners will find solace and connection, while also appreciating the artistry behind each track. Why? is just the beginning of a heartfelt narrative that promises to be some of Rhian’s best work to date.

Rhian Aoun is a burgeoning pop singer whose music explores themes of heartbreak, betrayal, and self-discovery. With a gift for transforming personal experiences into relatable lyrics, Rhian’s songs appeal to those navigating the complexities of love and loss. Her latest work explores the pivotal question after a breakup: How could someone you love cause such pain and remain untouched by it? Rhian’s journey into music began early, performing on stage at just six years old, where she sang and played piano for a captivated audience.

Her love for music grew stronger through her school years, where she studied multiple music courses and honed her songwriting skills by emulating artists like Billie Eilish. Her debut release, Quiet, a haunting piece inspired by Eilish’s style, showcases her early talent and experimentation with sound. In 2020, Rhian gained national attention as one of five finalists on a reality competition hosted by The Veronicas and Samsung Galaxy. Her song Devil On My Shoulder—written about a past breakup—earned her a spot on the show thanks to the track’s infectious chorus and professional production at Rocking Horse Studio.

Though the show introduced her to an ex-boyfriend who became the inspiration for many subsequent songs, Rhian left with cherished memories, new friends, and an unshakable determination to pursue her music career. Currently, Rhian continues to develop her sound as a pop artist, blending influences from her favorite musicians and life experiences. With a natural ability to write from the heart, often completing songs in a single day, Rhian Aoun is sure to make her mark on the contemporary music scene with her raw authenticity, genre-fluidity and emotional depth.
