Emerging pop artist Molly Stone is back with a new single titled “I Got You,” a fun and heartfelt song dedicated to friendship, loyalty, and the kind of bond that feels like chosen family.
Known for mixing honesty with a playful attitude, Stone continues to shape her own lane in pop music. Her style has often been described as a balance of sweetness and boldness, something she once summed up as “sweet voice, sharp tongue, unapologetically Molly.” That mix is clear again on this new release.
“I Got You” is an upbeat pop track, but underneath the bright sound is a real sense of care and sincerity. The song celebrates the wild, funny, and sometimes chaotic moments shared between best friends, the kind of relationships that go far beyond surface-level friendship.
Stone wrote the song during a studio session with songwriter Maddox Jones and producer Dave Crawford at Plastic Tree Studios. She says the idea came from thinking about the women in her life and how much they have supported and shaped her.

“I wanted to write a love song for my best friends,” Stone says. “My female friendships have meant so much to me. They’ve really shaped who I am. This song is my way of celebrating that. It’s fun, it’s silly, and it’s full of all those little moments that make those friendships so special.”
Musically, “I Got You” sits in the same world as artists like Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Lily Allen, and Chappell Roan, while still keeping Stone’s own personality at the center.
With its mix of humor, emotion, and catchy pop energy, “I Got You” shows Molly Stone growing into an artist who turns real-life feelings into songs that feel both personal and easy to connect with.
