Maroon 5 is back, and this time they’ve brought global K-pop star LISA along for the ride. Their new single “PRICELESS”, out now via 222/Interscope Records, marks the group’s first-ever collaboration with a K-pop artist—and sets the tone for what’s to come on their highly anticipated eighth studio album.
The track sees the band reconnecting with their roots, anchored by crisp guitar riffs and a laid-back groove that feels both fresh and familiar. “It’s just a guitar-based song, which we haven’t really done in so long,” says Adam Levine. “I actually got a little emotional recording it—it was like coming home.”
The official video, directed by Aerin Moreno, leans into cinematic cool with a nod to Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Shot on 35mm film in downtown L.A., the visual matches the song’s sultry energy and sharp production with style and action. Guitarist James Valentine adds, “When Adam first sent me the demo, it hit hard. ‘PRICELESS’ gave me that same kind of rush we felt in our early days.”
With a world tour on the horizon and more music teased to follow, “PRICELESS” feels like the perfect bridge between the band’s chart-dominating past and a bold new chapter.
Maroon 5 and LISA have delivered something that lives up to its name.
