Nigerian-born artist Dantiti is back with his latest single, “Big Big Tinz,” a lively celebration of his journey through Afrobeats, Afrofusion, rap, and R&B. The track showcases Dantiti’s knack for blending catchy grooves with heartfelt storytelling, further cementing his place in contemporary African music.
Raised in Benin City, Dantiti discovered his love for music early, rapping along to Notorious B.I.G. and dreaming of becoming a DJ. As a teenager, he immersed himself in beat-making, a passion that followed him from Nigeria to Ghana and eventually the UK, where he studied Marketing at the University of Wolverhampton.
In 2017, he founded iDope Records, a family-run label focused on independence and creative control. Early collaborations with Lagos producer Princetonbeatz helped shape his signature sound, fusing the energy of Afrobeat legends like Fela Kuti with his own reflective style.
Dantiti first caught attention with his debut single “Sweet Carolina” in 2021, followed by the melodic Afrobeats love song “Yemisi.” His first EP, released in 2025 under iDope Records, highlighted his versatility and evolution as both an artist and producer.
“Big Big Tinz” came together organically. “Leo Pynk sent me the beat, which was originally made for Davido. When Davido didn’t take it, I knew it was meant for me,” Dantiti recalls. He wrote and recorded the song in his apartment studio, and after sending it back, Leo Pynk loved it and requested to feature. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Leo Pynk, the track radiates optimism and the feeling that life always has a rhythm to move to.
With themes of love, resilience, and self-expression, “Big Big Tinz” is another exciting chapter for Dantiti, available now on all streaming platforms, and a testament to the energy and creativity of one of Nigeria’s most dynamic emerging artists.
