The Reconnection EP runs 14 minutes and 1 second, featuring four tracks — Not Tomorrow, Bluebird, Redemption Song (a moving reinterpretation of Bob Marley’s classic), and Two Witches. Together, they offer an introspective yet uplifting journey that showcases Freeman’s signature blend of raw emotion and melodic craftsmanship.

The release sets the stage for Freeman’s forthcoming full-length album, Gift In The Shadows, expected at the end of 2025. Described by the artist as his “most personal work to date,” the album will delve into themes of redemption, acceptance, and finding light in the darkness.

Emerging from deeply transformative experiences—beginning with his father’s illness at age 19, when music became both refuge and revelation—Freeman’s artistry has evolved from the raw honesty of his debut album Truth into a more mature, spiritually driven exploration of freedom, love, and authenticity.

Following a pandemic-induced pause that sparked introspection and renewal, he now prepares a series of ambitious projects for 2025–2026, including a new studio album (Gift in the Shadows), his film debut in The Hook, the philosophical feature Neon Soup, and a self-reflective documentary (How to Be a) FREE MAN.
