Ally Salort – Change of Plans: Ally Salort steps into the spotlight today with the release of her debut EP, Change of Plans, out now via Disruptor Records and RCA Records. Blending alt-pop energy with emotional storytelling, the six-track project introduces Ally as a bold new voice unafraid to share the messy, beautiful parts of love and growth.
The EP features fan favorites like “Tattoo (Selective Memory),” “Before & After,” and “Pretty Face,” alongside new renditions of “Swiss Army Knife” and “Any Way I Can.” Each track pulls listeners into Ally’s world, where raw emotion meets vivid lyricism and haunting melodies.
For Ally, the title Change of Plans captures the emotional detour the music reflects. “It felt like the perfect way to describe the journey this project takes you on,” she says. “There’s excitement, confusion, heartbreak, and eventually a sense of clarity and closure.”
With a nostalgic undercurrent and a deeply personal approach, Change of Plans feels both fresh and familiar. It’s a debut that showcases Ally’s unique sound and storytelling, marked by openness and self-discovery.
To celebrate the release, Ally will play her first headline shows this August. She’ll take the stage at Los Angeles’ Moroccan Lounge on August 14, followed by New York’s Mercury Lounge on August 20. Later this fall, she’s set to perform at Austin City Limits on October 12 — a milestone moment in her rising career.
With Change of Plans, Ally Salort offers an unforgettable introduction and a reminder that there’s beauty in the unexpected.
