Alessi Rose – Everything Anything: Alessi Rose continues to carve out her space in alt-pop with the release of “Everything Anything,” the third single from her upcoming EP Voyeur, arriving July 25 via Capitol Records.
Opening with mellow guitar strums and soft vocals, the song slowly builds into a lush, full-band arrangement. It captures the strange detachment that follows a breakup—especially when your ex ends up living right down the street. Alessi doesn’t hold back, delivering lines like “Your silence is deafening; I thought you were everything, but you don’t want anything…” with a mix of heartbreak and sharp wit.
Produced by Couros (who’s worked with Dora Jar and Saya Gray) and co-written by Alessi herself, the track blends vulnerability with a dry sense of humor. “It pokes fun at the utter absurdity of having someone who you once were so close and intimate with now becoming a total stranger,” she says. “It’s like a stream-of-consciousness rant — the kind of thing you’d share with your best friend at a sleepover.”
“Everything Anything” follows the buzz of her previous singles “Same Mouth” and “That Could Be Me,” as well as a standout debut at Glastonbury. With Voyeur just around the corner, Alessi Rose is proving herself to be a refreshingly honest and emotionally sharp voice in today’s pop scene.
