This week British rap icon Giggs announced The Chronicles of Giggs, the debut event in an ambitious new live music series, Chronicles of Giggs taking place at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on Wednesday 16 December 2026 with tickets going on sale on Friday 16th December at 10am
More than a traditional concert, The Chronicles of Giggs promises a celebration of the music, influences and defining moments that have shaped one of British rap’s most respected and influential careers.
The event will bring together an exceptional lineup featuring The LOX — Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch — alongside Beenie Man, Heartless Crew and Saxon Sound, with Giggs himself at the centre of the celebration. The show unites internationally celebrated hip-hop and dancehall artists with pioneering figures from British music culture.
Curated around the sounds and artists that have influenced Giggs throughout his journey, the event will offer audiences a unique opportunity to experience the musical foundations behind his story, brought to life on one stage.
TWO DECADES OF INFLUENCE, INDEPENDENCE AND CULTURAL IMPACT
From his beginnings in South London to becoming one of the defining voices of British rap, Giggs has built a career rooted in authenticity, independence and an uncompromising musical identity.
His unmistakable delivery and distinctive sound have helped reshape the landscape of UK hip-hop, inspiring generations of artists and earning recognition far beyond Britain’s borders.
With a career spanning two decades, Giggs has achieved significant commercial and cultural success. His acclaimed album Landlord reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart, beginning a run of three consecutive UK Top 10 projects, while his achievements have included recognition at the MOBO Awards.
His influence continues to resonate internationally, helping establish British rap as a powerful force in global music culture.
AN EXTRAORDINARY LINEUP CELEBRATING HIP-HOP, DANCEHALL AND UK MUSIC
HERITAGE
The Chronicles of Giggs will unite artists whose music has left a lasting mark on generations.
Legendary New York hip-hop trio The LOX — featuring Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch — bring their celebrated catalogue and unmistakable East Coast sound to Wembley. Jadakiss, widely respected for his distinctive voice, sharp lyricism and enduring influence on hip-hop, is joined by fellow members Styles P and Sheek Louch, whose collective legacy includes the landmark albums Money, Power & Respect and We Are the Streets. Jamaican dancehall superstar Beenie Man adds the energy and influence of one of the genre’s most recognisable international figures.
Representing the foundations of British urban music, Heartless Crew and Saxon Sound will celebrate the soundsystem, garage and reggae traditions that helped shape London’s musical identity.
Together, the lineup reflects the diverse musical influences that have played a part in Giggs’ journey, connecting different generations, genres and cultures.
MORE THAN A CONCERT — THE BEGINNING OF A NEW LIVE SERIES
The Chronicles of Giggs is designed to take audiences through the different chapters of Giggs’ musical journey, from the records and sounds that inspired him to the defining moments that established his position in British music history.
The event marks the launch of Chronicles of…, a new live platform celebrating artists through the music, cultural influences and legacies that have shaped their careers.
The announcement comes during another important chapter for Giggs. Beyond music, his involvement in the launch of St James House SEND School reflects his commitment to creating opportunities for young people, while his continued international recognition has recently included sharing the stage with Jay-Z in London.
With an extraordinary lineup and a concept rooted in musical heritage, The Chronicles of Giggs promises to be one of the standout celebrations of British rap culture this December.
