There’s something genuinely powerful about the way Divineisll approaches his craft. His work doesn’t feel surface-level or rushed—it feels intentional, reflective, and deeply rooted in purpose. As a globally published spoken word artist whose work has been archived multiple times in the British Library, he stands as a rare creative voice pushing beyond conventional boundaries and into something far more meaningful.

What makes Divineisll stand out is not just his ability to write, but the depth behind what he chooses to express. His words carry weight, shaped by real-life experiences, personal reflection, and a strong connection to spirituality. There’s a sense of honesty in his work that feels refreshing, especially in a time where much of the music landscape can feel repetitive or disconnected from real emotion.

Born in Flint, Michigan, Divineisll found his voice through writing, using it as a way to navigate life’s pressures and make sense of the world around him. That foundation has grown into a unique artistic lane he describes as esoteric healing spoken word music, a space where sound, message, and intention all meet.

His latest release, “Spirit God Universe,” is a clear reflection of that identity. The track blends spoken word with alternative sound in a way that feels calm yet thought-provoking, encouraging listeners to look within and question deeper truths about life, connection, and purpose. It’s not just a song, it’s an experience.

There’s also a quiet strength in how he carries his message. He doesn’t force it, he lets it unfold naturally, allowing listeners to connect at their own level. That balance of vulnerability, awareness, and confidence is what makes his artistry so compelling.

In this interview, Divineisll shares insight into his journey, the meaning behind his work, and how he continues to use his voice as a tool for healing, growth, and truth.

To begin, could you please introduce yourself for the benefit of readers who may be discovering your work for the first time, and share a bit about your artistic journey so far?

I’m an Globally published artist archived in the British Library, pioneering a new lane of esoteric healing spoken word music. Born in Flint Michigan I have been living to discover new ways to live without so much effort. Writing has always been my outlet when the pressures of societies gicen hard times come knocking. I decided if I was going to do music I will do it as my full self and one that echoes from my insides. I’m on a journey to keep the timelines Fit and Loving for the Renewed Earth with Truth as the Guide.

Your track “Spirit God Universe” blends spoken word with alternative sound in a deeply reflective way. What inspired this piece, and what message were you most intentional about conveying?

I wanted people to hear how the same we’ve all been while using different terms for a Ultimate source that forms Us. If people waiting on a Hero that need to realize we the Heros and Heroines with the Powers not some suits and bombs.

You’ve been archived multiple times in the British Library. How has that recognition influenced your growth and artistic confidence?

It’s been a great help for my confidence. I have been enjoying the surprises  just when I believe i ran into a creative ceiling.

How would you personally describe your sound and artistic identity, especially to someone encountering your music for the first time?

I make music for our higher selves using my own as the Channel. I’m going to make you question what human really is.

“Spirit God Universe” explores themes such as universal law, karma, dharma, and spiritual accountability. How do these concepts influence your daily life and creative decisions?

These are my tools to clear the dark waves. Even without the full definitions I simply walk the talk and you pick it up.

As an artist working across spoken word and music, how do you usually begin your creative process with emotion, message, or sound?

Silence is where I get most of it. Focusing on the mind I pick sounds from the environment and decipher the messages I receive using emotions. So I would say I use all those plus writing prompts from poetry groups I attend.

“Spirit God Universe” also carries a deeply personal layer, including a tribute to your sister. How did that experience shape the emotional depth and direction of the song?

It was a big part of the way I was able to write it. I’m a Spiritual Warrior elsewhere and I focused on finding her Spirit renewed within my concious after the passing Welcoming her as a Ancestor. We all Rise because we came from a Fall, so the Spiritual War shall continue with even more impact added to the shifts.

What do you see as the biggest challenges and rewards of creating music that is deeply introspective and spiritually driven in today’s music landscape?

One of the biggest challenges is the support while building your own identity that isn’t present. You have to have a purpose to do music that goes beyond public opinion and stamps itself as life changing. Spiritually you will learn to balance your own emotions with more solitude in your craft as new people arrive that align with your path. Once you get the hang of who’s who causing your elevation or decline you’ll be brave enough to reclaim your original talents and you may just choose to do something other than music at that period. It’s a outlet that that assist in steering your into your purpose in life.

Who or what have been your biggest artistic influences, both musically and spiritually, in shaping your voice as an artist?

My biggest influence is wanting to experience a society where we all don’t have to pay to eat real food and abiding by universal laws of life that actually balance emotional tides. The pain of the planet is shaping my voice and allowing me to further my concious access as I Transmute it all.

Looking ahead, what do you hope listeners take away from “Spirit God Universe,” and what direction do you see your artistry evolving into next?

I want people to take a hint of experience that they have hidden. If those things that were done purposely to take you out didn’t take you out yet then who been holding you steady and healing you up? Yes that was You you and you! that kept the present so show how You and Yours Truly got getting it done. I’m restudying shapes this year. I’m in Pentagon and Hexagon from May through August. Pentagon in May followed by Hexagon then I’ll mix the two different ways using Esoteric knowledge. A Divine Disrupter is Here doing Music, so prepare to Swat Alien and Tyrant Fear off your Energy.
