Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga lead with nine nominations each, followed by The Weeknd and Billie Eilish with six.

Grande and Gaga score nods in the major categories including Video of the Year and Song of the Year for their collaboration “Rain On Me.”

The Weeknd is up for six including Artist of the Year and Video of the Year for “Blinding Lights.” His fellow Canadian Drake collects four nods including Video of the Year and Best Collaboration for “Life Is Good” with Future.
