How do you see ‘Dance4Me’ fitting into the current pop music landscape? What makes it stand out?

“Dance4Me” is a deeply personal message, but it also speaks universally. It’s an invitation for people to step outside their comfort zones and live freely and authentically. In that sense, it transcends trends or genres. While it sits confidently within the pop landscape, its essence goes beyond any musical label — because at its core, music is universal. It’s about connection, liberation, and truth. That’s what makes it stand out.

Beyond the music itself, is there a broader message or feeling you hope listeners take away from experiencing this album?

Absolutely. Each song on Dance4Me carries its own message. Some are about self-love, authenticity, and the joy of simply being yourself. Others are drawn from my personal experiences — moments of love, connection, and vulnerability — that I believe many people will relate to and relive through the music. Then there are the feel-good tracks — songs like “Away” or the Latino-inspired ones — that are meant for those carefree moments, like driving with the windows down and the wind in your hair. Even the reggae song featuring Beenie Man is about fun and love. The whole album is written with purity and authenticity, and I hope everyone who listens feels something beautiful.

What are you most proud of achieving with ‘Dance4Me,’ and what are you most excited for fans to experience?

I’m incredibly proud of the album itself — and simply being able to release it. That alone is such a joy and an honor for me. Sharing my music with the world, knowing that people can hear and connect with it, is one of the most rewarding experiences an artist can have. What excites me the most is the chance for fans to feel everything I poured into this project — the love, the joy, the energy — all of it. I want them to experience the same happiness I felt while creating it.

Mastering by Alex Psaroudakis is a significant step. What was it about his work that made him the right fit for ‘Dance4Me’?

Having Dance4Me mastered by Alex Psaroudakis is a huge accomplishment and an incredible honor. I’ve admired his work for a long time — he’s so talented, and I especially appreciate his work on many Latin tracks. I knew that his touch would elevate my sound, and that’s exactly what happened. He brought out the best in the music, and I’m beyond happy that we got to collaborate on this project.

What kind of emotional tapestry are you hoping listeners will connect with when they experience ‘Dance4Me’?

The emotional tapestry of Dance4Me is incredibly rich and diverse. Listeners will journey through a wide range of emotions — love, joy, excitement, hope — but also nostalgia, loneliness, and longing. One of the most personal songs on the album is “Back to You,” which I wrote for my fiancé while he was sick at home and I was away in the studio recording. I wanted him to know that I’d be back soon — and from that moment, the song was born. Life isn’t just about love and roses; it’s also filled with challenges. That’s why I want people to feel seen, understood, and inspired while listening.

How has your understanding of yourself and your artistry evolved over the past four years leading up to this release?

Over the past four years, I’ve come to see myself almost as a channel when I write music. Experience definitely plays a role — it helps refine your skills as an artist — but more than that, it’s about allowing yourself to be open and vulnerable. That openness creates space for something greater than you to flow through. With this album, the music and lyrics poured out of me. I didn’t overthink it — I just felt every song, every word, every verse so deeply. That’s how I know it came from a real place.

Do you feel your music bridges a gap between your Romanian heritage and your American experience? If so, how?

I’ve always felt international at heart. When I’m creating, I don’t feel bound to just one identity — I’m not just Romanian, not just American. I love singing in many languages: Greek, Italian, French, Spanish, Hebrew, Arabic… because for me, music is the ultimate universal language — whether it’s love, pain, or joy. It transcends borders, cultures, and backgrounds. So yes, I believe my music bridges not just Romanian and American influences, but cultures from all over the world. My dream is to reach every soul, no matter where they’re from.

Have you found any particular aspects of American culture that have significantly shaped your artistic expression?

Absolutely. After living in America for so many years, I naturally developed a multicultural perspective — and that has deeply influenced my music and my life. The diversity, the openness, and the mix of cultures here have expanded my artistic vision in a very organic way. You can definitely feel that in this album. It reflects a blend of influences, rhythms, and emotions that were shaped by my American experience, while still staying true to my roots.

What can we look forward to as far as new music this summer and fall?

Well, I’ve just released Dance4Me, so right now I’m focused on sharing it with the world — bringing it to as many people and places as possible. I want to perform everywhere — in every corner of the globe — and celebrate this music with people from all walks of life. That’s my plan for the summer and fall: to connect, to perform, and to have fun with my fans. Of course, I’ll also be working on new music — including songs in Romanian for my fans back home and to honor my roots. I’m also looking to create in other languages as well.

Are there any plans for live performances or a tour to support the new album? What can fans expect from your live shows?

Yes, definitely! We’re currently planning live performances in the U.S., Latin America, and Romania — and I’m so excited about it. As soon as everything is finalized, I’ll be sharing the dates with my fans. I can’t wait to connect with everyone, meet new people, and share my music live around the world. To my fans: thank you for supporting me, for being there when I needed it, for listening, loving, dancing, and feeling with my music. From the bottom of my heart — thank you. I can’t wait to see you on stage!
