The 2024 theme, “Garden of Time,” saw Tyla transform into the embodiment of time and nature. She wore a breathtaking Balmain dress crafted from actual sand and microcrystals, meticulously applied by hand onto a fabric mold tailored precisely to her shape.
During her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Tyla enthusiastically recounted the creation of her now-famous sand dress. “We decided to go bold!” she told Kelly. Although the initial idea seemed a bit abstract, Tyla fell in love with the concept once she saw the samples.
