Tony Baltimore returns with the vibrant new single ‘Yesterday’s News’, the first single to be taken from the upcoming new album Hello Bordello released via Conch Town Records.
Showcasing Baltimore’s tight songwriting, biting guitar tones and infectious melodies, ‘Yesterday’s News’ perfectly captures the sense of energy and Alternative-Rock approach present in Tony’s live performances.
Building slowly from its guitar and vocals, the track gradually introduces elements before swelling into a chorus with a wash of backing vocals which underline Tony’s stylistic, urgent and expressive vocal delivery. The second verse see’s the track burst into life as the track lefts rip with intense distorted, thick walls of guitars and punching drums, blending Tony’s melodic tendencies with alternative-rock-come-classic-rock musical approach.
Speaking about the track, Tony explains:“Yesterday’s News is a statement of intent. It’s the first single from my upcoming album, and coincidentally, also the first track on the new record. Yesterday’s News sets the tone for an album which showcases more of my rock influences.”
Working with renowned producer Ian Shaw (Portugal. The Man, Barb Jungr) and releasing via Conch Town Records, Baltimore has gained a whole host of press notoriety from the likes of Earmilk, RnR Magazine, Clout, Americana Highways as well as radio play across the UK and US.
