6th June 2026 marks the official release of The Yellow Drum Studio’s highly anticipated new album, Paq Man Riddim, a dancehall project designed to connect cultures and push the genre forward on the global stage.
Inspired by the growing international reach of dancehall music, Paq Man Riddim was created as a cultural bridge, blending sounds and artists from across continents. Rather than following a conventional songwriting path, the project focused on curation and high energy, resulting in a hard-hitting, vibrant rhythm that gives each featured artist full creative freedom. The outcome is a bold, forward-thinking sound that captures cross-continental energy.
This release stands out as a true multi-artist collaboration, featuring a powerful lineup led by Jamaican talent alongside two standout African artists. Each contributor brings their own distinctive style and cultural flavour to the project. Rising star 1Braka is already creating significant early momentum with his track Look, which has been generating strong online buzz and support from leading selectors in the scene.
The entire Paq Man Riddim was produced and spearheaded by The Yellow Drum Studio, the London-based independent production house known for championing global talent through high-quality production and distribution.
The Yellow Drum Studio was founded with a mission to bridge cultural gaps and create opportunities for independent artists worldwide. Specialising in dancehall, reggae, and cross-continental collaborations, the studio has grown into an internationally recognised creative hub. The name itself symbolises the heartbeat of global music – yellow representing energy, creativity and optimism, paired with the drum as the unifying force connecting African and Caribbean rhythms.
Building on the success of their previous project, the Blood Shot Riddim, which achieved strong streaming numbers, international radio play and widespread media coverage in 2025, The Yellow Drum Studio continues to champion artistic freedom and innovation. Paq Man Riddim represents the next bold step in elevating the global dancehall movement.
