Ricky Duran burns bright in his brand new single “Shine” featuring Grammy-nominated artist and multi-hit songwriter, Eric Paslay. Co-written by Duran and Paslay, the pair found it fitting to release a recording with the two of them – and with a behind-the-scenes music video to boot.
“As soon as we wrote this song, I knew it needed to be recorded,” says the former The Voice runner-up, Ricky Duran. “Having Eric sing on the track makes it even better.”
“Shine” plays into the strengths of both artists: electrifying guitar playing, velvety smooth vocals, undeniably country lyricism, and the makings of a good time. In true Ricky Duran fashion, “Shine” melds together rock and soul in a bonafide country track, serving as Duran’s first true country introduction since having Blake Shelton as a coach on Season 17 of The Voice where he became Runner-Up.
