Dutch singer-songwriter Noble is embracing a fresh direction in her music with the release of “Ugly Heart,” a bold and uplifting country-inspired track that highlights confidence, self-worth, and emotional honesty.
Born and raised in the Netherlands, Noble discovered her love for music at an early age, naturally gravitating toward storytelling through song. As a teenager, she gained early recognition after reaching the semi-finals of The Voice Kids Belgium, setting the foundation for her journey as a recording artist and songwriter.
Her career has continued to evolve over time. In 2022, she introduced her debut album Silence, a cinematic pop-rock project that featured tracks like “All I Wanted” and “Creeping,” which together have gathered hundreds of thousands of streams. She later explored a more intimate folk-pop direction with her EP True Calling, a project that ultimately helped guide her toward the sound she is fully embracing today.
That path became clearer with the release of “chasing space,” a soft country-folk single released earlier this year, which marked her first step into a new musical space and received attention from outlets such as Triple J, Lefuture Wave, and Caesar Live N Loud.
Now, with “Ugly Heart,” Noble delivers a more outspoken and energetic anthem centered on personal boundaries and self-respect. The track carries an upbeat country feel while addressing the importance of emotional depth over status, appearance, or material focus.
Speaking about the song, Noble explains that it began during a writing session with producer Paul Aiden, where a simple guitar idea sparked the direction of the track. As the song developed, its message naturally shifted toward calling out shallow behavior and choosing honesty in relationships.
She also notes that the inspiration behind the song was shaped in part by Louis Theroux’s documentary The Manosphere, which led her to reflect on modern attitudes toward masculinity and relationships.
At its core, “Ugly Heart” delivers a clear message: real connection is built on authenticity, empathy, and emotional truth, not surface-level appeal.

The release of the single was moved forward after an early radio premiere on ABC Country Australia, which led to additional support from ABC Radio, Triple J, and Radio Australia. Her previous single “chasing space” also recently made its debut on Triple J, further building momentum for her evolving sound.
Noble’s transition into country music has been a gradual journey. She reflects that her earlier work was part of a longer process of self-discovery, rather than a final destination. A defining moment came when she wrote her first country-inspired song during a quiet winter afternoon in the Netherlands, an experience that shifted her creative direction entirely.
Since then, she has been drawing inspiration from artists such as Kacey Musgraves, Shania Twain, and Ella Langley, finding a sound that feels more aligned with her identity as both a writer and performer.
With “chasing space” and now “Ugly Heart,” Noble is establishing herself as an emerging voice in modern country-folk, combining heartfelt storytelling with a strong sense of individuality and emotional clarity.
