Stoke-on-Trent alt-rock sensation Lissy Taylor is back with her latest single, “Your Girl,” a track that perfectly showcases her knack for crafting addictive indie-rock anthems. Known for her high-energy live performances and dedicated fanbase, Lissy is gearing up for a vibrant summer of UK festivals, including Truck Festival and Y Not Festival’s main stage. “Your Girl” is set to drop on July 26th.

This new release is an empowering indie-pop anthem celebrating the confidence and freedom of being single. With its bright guitar riffs, punchy drums, and solid bass, the track is underscored by Lissy’s smooth, charismatic vocals, which bring an uplifting and sultry vibe to the song.

Lissy explains, “I wrote ‘Your Girl’ after a breakup, feeling that while I could be anyone’s girl, I’m choosing to embrace my independence. The song captures the confidence and empowerment that comes with being single.”

As a hardworking independent artist, Lissy Taylor’s determination has earned her spots supporting rising acts like The Snuts, Sundara Karma, and Circa Waves. Recently, she was crowned Manchester City Football Club’s Battle of the Bands Winner 2024, performing to 7,000 fans live at the WSL final, broadcast on BBC One, and awarded 5 days of recording at Strongroom Studio 1.
