Indie singer/songwriter, and country recording artist, Karly C (Quirky Cowgirl Records) celebrates the release of her new single “You’ve Seen Heaven,” a fervent, faith-filled ballad embracing those bereaved through death. The songstress’ 29th studio recording, the expressive original is AVAILABLE NOW via all digital retail and streaming platforms.
Beaming with swelling string instrumentals and powerful yet ethereal vocals, “You’ve Seen Heaven” is a believer’s intimate conversation with a departed loved one. Hopeful, ardent lyrics seek comfort and reassurance that heaven is as we imagine in the pictures painted in our minds. “I wrote and recorded it as a tribute to my aunt. The song fell from the sky; I started with a few chords and a simple melody, and somehow, the lyrics started flowing as if she were guiding me,” said “You’ve Seen Heaven” songwriter and co-producer, Karly. “While this song is deeply personal to me, I truly believe it’s for anyone grieving and missing someone who is no longer here. I hope it brings comfort and peace to anyone who needs it, no matter the time of year because there’s no season for missing someone.”

Reminiscent of 90s country sound stamped with modern contemporary production and warm melodious instrumentals, the soft melody is backdropped by layers of guitars, keys, strings, pedal steel, fiddle and a vocal tempo that climbs with a cry. Karly C (born Karly Coleman from Hamilton Square, NJ) is a genre-bending performer and self-taught guitarist, piano player, recording engineer and producer who transcends the ordinary, effortlessly blending country, rock, pop and punk into a unique, electrifying mix that’s all her own. With iconic artists like Celine Dion, Adele, Lady Gaga, Sia and the great 90s female country music entertainers as her role models and vocal influences, the stylist effortlessly and uniquely incorporates 1980s hair bands and female rockers (such as Joan Jett and Heart) with an added touch of pop/punk (in a vein similar to Avril Lavigne) into her sound.
Launching her career in 2016, she enjoyed swift success. The talented songstress co-wrote and performed five songs for the hit television show Dance Moms (Lifetime). Just two years later, Karly signed a production music publishing deal with Warner Chappell/BMG; she made her debut with a 10-song collection titled TAKE ME AS I AM. Her first taste of Pop radio success spawned in 2019 when the title track, “Take Me As I Am,” hit heavy rotation on SiriusXM (Venus Channel).
In 2020, Karly launched her indie country label, Quirky Cowgirl Records, and released the singles “You And Your Whatever” (2020), “Another Drink Or Three” (2021), “I Was Gonna Love You” (2022) and “You Made Your Bed” (2023) under the imprint. The latter two singles enjoyed momentum on the MusicRow chart supported by a healthy dose of non-reporting stations averaging over 500 spins/week.
The May 2025 single, “You’ve Seen Heaven,” is the launch of Karly’s 2025 waterfall series, with additional releases to follow throughout the summer.
