Wisconsin based, recording artist JV Harris has at long last released his long-awaited first single entitled BETRAYAL .
JV Harris is a multi-dimensional, genre bending artist, songwriter, and performer. From Hip-Hop and R&B to alternative rock and folk, JV sees no limits to his creativity. He takes time to truly feel what he writes when composing new music so that the depth and darkness pouring out of his art come from a place of real vulnerability. “For as long as I can remember, my art has been my truest form of expression” says JV when reflecting on his creative process.
While JV’s vibe is laid back and melancholy, his motivation resembles the fight of an underdog. JV is determined to add his name to the major music scene by offering an outlet for people who relate to his experiences. He strives to create music that help his listeners realize they aren’t the only ones going through difficult situations by shedding light on dark topics that many other artists avoid. When asked why he creates music, JV responded, “I’m not really doing it for me, I’m doing it to have an impact [on others]. So if I am not impacting anybody with the things that I am saying, if I am not moving people with my words and my sounds then I am not doing my job”.
