Jessie J – Believe in Magic: Jessie J has returned with a new single that carries both warmth and strength. The BRIT Award winner and multi-platinum artist has released “Believe in Magic,” a track filled with resilience, emotion, and a sense of hope.
She first wrote the song in 2022 during the early months of her pregnancy. For Jessie, it became an important moment of rediscovery. “I was breaking open and loving writing again. It was a deep hopeful loving feeling I wanted to put into a song. It resonates with me more now than perhaps it did then. That is the beauty of music, it can travel in time,” she explains. “I love this song. I hope you get the inspiration for your life in your own way. That is my only hope for all my music.”
The track was produced by Los Hendrix and Jesse Boykins III, who also worked with Jessie on her earlier single “No Secrets.” It arrives with a golden kaleidoscopic visualiser directed by Mitch Peryer that captures the sense of timeless emotion within the song.
“Believe in Magic” continues Jessie’s recent run of heartfelt releases. “No Secrets” quickly landed on BBC 1Xtra’s playlist, while “Living My Best Life,” produced by Grammy winner Ryan Tedder, found its place on both BBC Radio 2 and Capital FM. Together, these singles show Jessie’s ability to move between raw honesty and joyful celebration with ease.
Her live presence has been equally powerful. Earlier this summer she performed at Wembley Stadium for Capital’s Summertime Ball, her first major show since recovering from breast cancer. She is also set to return to the stage at Radio 2 In The Park on September 6. In May she performed “The Award Goes To” at the BAFTA Television Awards, marking her first televised performance in six years.
Jessie J has always stood out as an artist who brings truth and emotion into her music. With “Believe in Magic” she once again reminds listeners that hope and resilience can be as moving as power and vulnerability.
