Fred Again, Sammy Virji & Winny today releases a brand new track titled ‘Winny’. It features a sample from three of the Nigerian singers’ tracks ‘Lego’, ‘9-5’ & ‘Utility Player’ lifted from her previously released EP ‘Commercial Break’ and uses Winny’s unique, powerful and sultry voice as the backbone for this incredible new dance single.

‘Winny’ is the next release from the new era of Fred’s infinite, ever-evolving USB album, following the ‘Beto’s Horns’ remixes with CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso and Ezra Collective, ‘Talk of the Town’ with Sammy Virji and Reggie, ‘HARDSTYLE 2’ with KETTAMA and Shady Nasty, ‘Facilita’ with Caribou and MC Teteu, ‘Ambery’ with Floating Points, ‘the floor’ remixes with Skin On Skin & BEAM, ‘OK OK’ with Danny Brown, BEAM & PARISI and ‘you’re a star’ with Amyl and the Sniffers.

Aside from the official releases, Fred has also been keen to share unfinished edits with fans too. Last Friday, he appeared on Twitch from Toronto where he continued working on a number of tracks while taking feedback from fans in the comments, before uploading them all to Soundcloud live on stream. Last month Fred kicked off the new era of his acclaimed USB series, revealing he will be releasing ten songs and playing ten shows in ten cities around the world across ten weeks.

Last week’s USB002 shows took place at Toronto’s The Hangar with Fred joined by Loukeman, FROSSYOUTH and Brat Star on the first night, and going B2B with Four Tet on the second. The show also featured the installation by visual artist Boris Acket which will be at every USB002 show this year.

The next USB002 show takes place tonight at Navy Pier in Chicago with Sammy Virji.

Fred’s USB album originally began in 2022, featuring tracks like ‘Baby Again’, ‘Rumble’ alongside Skrillex & Flowdan, ‘Jungle’, ‘leavemealone’ with Baby Keem and ‘stayinit’ with Lil Yachty, as well as remixes from Nia Archives, HAAi and Rico Nasty, before the first collection was released on vinyl as USB001 in 2024.

Winny’s Bio
Winifred Ohili Adanu, professionally known as Winny, an Afro-reggae singer from Benue State, Nigeria. The Talented Idoma singer was born and raised in Jos, Nigeria. Winny’s sound embodies a blend of Reggae, R&B/Soul and Afro music, coupled with a unique vocal texture and delivery – a distinct edge to her music.
