Following the acclaim of what The Guardian hailed as “one of 2024’s best debut albums,” Fabiana Palladino is back with her latest single, “Drunk.” This self-written and produced track was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London in August, featuring contributions from Ellis Dupuy on drums and Joe Newman on guitar. The final touch comes from her father, the renowned bassist Pino Palladino, whose signature sound enriches the composition.
With “Drunk,” Palladino moves away from the polished production style of her debut album, opting instead for a more raw and immediate sound that captures the essence of live performance.
The track’s energy is further enhanced by analog mixing from five-time GRAMMY Award-winning engineer Russell Elevado, ensuring that listeners experience the vibrant authenticity of Palladino’s artistry.
