Jamaican artist Andrew Bionic has released his latest single, Mi Have the Peeny, out now across all major streaming platforms. Released on 10th August 2026, the track arrives as an addition to the Reggae and Dancehall genres, built to get bodies moving and energy levels rising.
The single was created with one clear ambition: to capture the excitement of the dancehall experience and put the genre’s newest dance moves on full display. From the gyrations to the hand movements, the accompanying visuals reflect exactly what is happening in the streets right now, offering an authentic snapshot of contemporary dancehall culture in motion.
Musically, Mi Have the Peeny is designed to deliver a feel-good sense of hype, paired with playfully suggestive lyrics that invite listeners in rather than spelling everything out. True to Andrew Bionic’s style, the song draws directly from his own life, with the lyrics shaped by his personal experiences. The track came together quickly and led entirely by mood rather than a lengthy studio process, giving it a spontaneous, unfiltered energy that runs through every bar.
Andrew Bionic is a Jamaican artist known for infusing popular music with a strong dose of Jamaican culture. His sound blends mainstream rhythms with gritty, dancehall vocals, a signature style he has spent ten years developing. He began his career voicing dancehall lyrics over rap rhythms, before evolving into a broader musical style that layers authentic dancehall delivery over popular beats.
