Out now via The Orchard, this 3-track EP highlights her versatility and emotional range, shaped by years of songwriting for artists like FLO, Nao, IVE, and Sam Feldt. The project lands ahead of her first-ever live performance at London’s All Points East Festival, where she will take the stage with her sisters RAYE and Absolutely. It marks a defining moment in her journey as she steps forward as both songwriter and storyteller, ready to share her narrative in a more personal way.
Each song on Middle Child carries a part of Amma’s story, exploring love, fear, pride, and hope. Yet her focus reaches beyond herself. “There are 27 examples of emotions and 8 billion people in the world. That means we are never really alone in how we feel,” Amma reflects. This sense of shared humanity is the heartbeat of the project. While the songs are born from her own experiences, they open space for listeners to feel seen and connected through universal emotions.
