Melbourne indie-pop singer-songwriter Ali Lamb explores that space on her new EP, Between the Lines, a six-track collection that brings together romance, anxiety, heartbreak and the process of finding yourself.
There is something fitting about using books as the central idea behind the project. Ali’s love of both music and literature comes through in the way the EP is structured, with each song feeling like another chapter in a larger story. Rather than treating the tracks as separate moments, Between the Lines allows them to sit together as parts of the same emotional journey.
“Strawberry Matcha” brings a softer and sweeter side to the project, while “Favourite Chapter” leans further into romance and storytelling.
