They say if you love someone you should set them free. This sentiment rings true in Dariann Leigh’s upcoming single, “Love Me Let Me,” due November 22. Dariann Leigh begs “if you love me let me leave” in a haunting, ethereal country-pop track.
“If you love someone enough, you’ll let them go. If it’s real love, you’ll find your way back,” states Dariann Leigh. “I had the line ‘if you love me, let me leave’ in my notes app for months and when I walked into the writing room, I knew these were the people I wanted to write it with.”
“Love Me Let Me” faces the repercussions of a rocky relationship head on, with lines like “so now you wanna call me, but you never wanted to say sorry.” The track takes listeners on a journey through this stage, knowing that in order to get back to the good parts of the relationship, extreme efforts like “40 dozen roses” will need to take place.
Dariann Leigh releases “Love Me Let Me” on the heels of her bubblegum country track “Just Say It” and Music City anthem “Bury Me On Broadway.” “These songs depict this new era of my music – growth in my voice, sound, songwriting and creativity,” Leigh continues. “I’m excited to continue to share what I’ve been pouring my heart into.” Though “Love Me Let Me Leave” is the final release of 2024, Dariann Leigh isn’t slowing down. Rather, she is preparing for a new year of continued growth and catchy new tracks in 2025.
“Love Me Let Me” will be available on all streaming platforms November 22. “This new era of Dariann Leigh has the whole team excited, especially this new song,” states Dawn DeJongh, owner of Burning Ground Entertainment.
