Swiss singer-songwriter Mané is set to release her second full-length project, The Goddess in the Room, on June 2, 2026, through Livana Music. The nine-track album marks a bold step forward in her sound, blending atmospheric pop with tribal-inspired percussion and deeply emotional electronic production.

The project takes listeners through a reflective and transformative journey centred on healing, self-awareness, and personal strength. Across its tracklist, Mané builds a sound world that feels both intimate and expansive, shaped by layered synths, grounded drum rhythms, and expressive vocals that carry a strong emotional weight.

Over the years, Mané has developed into one of Switzerland’s most original emerging voices, known for her ability to merge vulnerability with strength in her music. For this album, she draws influence from artists such as AURORA, Eivør, Billie Eilish, Kiki Rockwell, and Roniit, while carving out a direction she describes as “shamanic pop,” where modern electronic textures meet ancient rhythmic energy.

“At its core, this album is about returning to yourself,” Mané explains. “It’s about letting go of fear, expectations, and everything we are taught to believe we should be. The idea is that the power we are looking for has always been inside us.”

The album follows a symbolic narrative of a central “Goddess” figure who slowly awakens to her identity and strength. Along the way, she reconnects with her body, embraces her queerness, processes inherited pain, and challenges limiting systems. The journey ends in acceptance and self-realisation, where inner power replaces external validation.

Themes of identity, mental wellbeing, feminism, queer experience, spirituality, and ancestral connection run throughout the project. The music moves between softer, reflective moments and powerful bursts of energy, balancing fragility with confidence.

Mané’s earlier career began in more traditional pop territory, but a period of personal burnout led her to rethink both her sound and her creative process. During this time, she discovered the shamanic drum, which became a key influence in shaping her current artistic direction and live performances.

The result is a body of work that feels immersive and deeply intentional. Each song contributes to a wider artistic universe that includes visual storytelling, symbolic imagery, and community-focused experiences that extend beyond the music itself.

“I want my music to create a space where people feel safe to reconnect with themselves,” Mané says. “If someone listens and feels a sense of recognition, comfort, or strength, then I’ve done what I set out to do.”

Since 2014, Mané has performed across Switzerland and internationally, appearing at major stages including Montreux Jazz Festival, Southbank Centre in London, Hotel Café in Los Angeles, and Threshold Festival in Liverpool. She has also toured across Europe, performing in cities such as Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam.

Her debut EP Before the Storm was funded by fans and produced with Meya Music, earning radio play across Swiss stations including Option Musique, LFM, One FM, Rhône FM, and Radio Swiss Pop. The project also placed her among the Top 15 finalists at the Demotape Clinic at m4music.

Other milestones in her career include a national Christmas campaign for Coop Switzerland, participation in Switzerland’s Eurovision selection process, the release of her mental health-focused single High On Flowers, and a podcast created to support women artists. She also returned to Montreux Jazz Festival in 2024.

In 2025, Mané signed with Zurich-based label Livana Music and joined the Proxima development program at Les Docks, strengthening her position as one of the country’s most promising alternative pop artists.

To mark the release of The Goddess in the Room, Mané will host special launch shows on June 3, 2026 at Les Docks in Lausanne and June 5, 2026 at The Waiting Room in London. Her live performances feature a mix of electronic instrumentation and live shamanic drumming, creating an immersive experience that reflects the emotional core of the album.
