Eastern Congo has been scarred by over three decades of relentless conflict, fueled by battles over minerals like gold, diamonds, copper, and the coltan and cobalt that power our everyday devices. In Goma, a city under siege by armed militias, artists risk their lives to speak out, let alone sing of peace. Yet, Music Beyond Artists chose to channel this reality into a universal message: Congo, Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, wherever pain exists, hope endures under the same stars. The result is Under the Same Stars – Sous les mêmes étoiles, a song born from lived experiences, collaborative passion, and a fierce desire to transform silence into something connective.
