When Buss Dat Music dropped SQUASH RIDDIM on March 27, 2025, they didn’t just release an album, they released a feeling. Across seven tracks, the project brings a raw, vibrant energy that reminds you why music matters in the first place. In a world where so much sounds the same, SQUASH RIDDIM is a bold, living pulse that you can feel deep in your chest.

The story behind this album is just as alive as the music itself. It all started with the Juice Riddim, a beat so infectious it sparked something bigger than anyone expected. Instead of just riding that wave, Buss Dat Music built a whole movement around it. The result is something that feels bigger than just sound. It feels like culture, like energy, like life being passed from speaker to soul.

The album kicks off with “Mi De Bwoy Like,” a heavy, swaggering statement that immediately pulls you into its world. The basslines hit hard, the rhythm slides perfectly, and you can almost see the dance floor it was made for. It’s not polished to the point of losing its edge, and that’s the beauty of it. It feels real.

Then come the twin forces of “Connoisseur” and “Connoisseur – Clean Mix.” Both versions keep the vibe high but offer different flavors. The raw version carries the full weight of the lyrics, while the clean mix proves that sometimes power doesn’t have to shout to be heard. It’s smart, it’s intentional, and it shows the flexibility of Buss Dat Music’s approach.

“Aircraft” and “Aircraft – Clean Mix” lift the album even higher. These tracks don’t just move, they soar. There’s a lightness in the beat, a spaciousness that gives the riddim room to breathe while still hitting you with that undeniable dancehall weight. It’s the kind of track you find yourself lost in, forgetting where you are for a few minutes as the music takes over.

And then “Money Rock” and “Money Rock – Clean Mix” close the album with a fierce energy that feels like a rallying cry. It’s about hustle, about dreaming bigger, about refusing to be boxed in. The riddim knocks hard but still leaves space for the lyrics to shine. It’s the perfect closer for an album that’s about movement in every sense of the word.

But the real magic of SQUASH RIDDIM isn’t just in the tracks themselves. It’s in the way everything fits together. Every beat, every melody, every vocal feels connected, like part of a bigger conversation. It’s collaboration at its finest, with each artist bringing something unique while still respecting the shared heartbeat of the project.

There’s a spirit running through this album that you can’t fake. It’s bold. It’s joyful. It’s alive. Buss Dat Music didn’t just craft riddims to dance to, they built an experience you can live inside. You hear it in the way the beats breathe, in the spaces between the bass hits, in the raw edge of the vocals.

SQUASH RIDDIM is more than a release. It’s a reminder that at its best, music isn’t just something you listen to. It’s something you feel in your bones. It moves you, whether you’re ready for it or not.

Buss Dat Music captured something real with this project. And once you press play, you’ll feel it too.
