Megan Thee Stallion has a packed schedule this October with the release of her new project, MEGAN: ACT II, hitting streaming platforms today (October 25). Following close behind, her documentary Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 31, just in time for Halloween.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Megan shared her initial hesitation about creating a documentary. She reflected on the challenges she faced in the aftermath of her shooting incident involving Tory Lanez, explaining how it led to her feeling “dehumanized.” As she put it, “People were really chiming in on my life… You didn’t hear that from my mouth. You don’t know how I really feel.” While Megan initially declined the documentary offer, she ultimately realized the importance of controlling her story and showing her personal side. “I want people to know me, Megan Pete, not just Megan Thee Stallion,” she added, underscoring her desire to reclaim her narrative.
Her lighthearted moment on the show highlighted her resilience, with Megan humorously mentioning that although she projects a strong image, she’s just as human as anyone else.
