Pete Loran, the multi-platinum, award-winning singer-songwriter from Paramus, New Jersey, is best known as the lead singer of the 1990s American metal band Trixter. Never leaving music behind, Pete is back with a new solo project, single, and video, “Around Again,”
Pete shares, “The inspiration for ‘Around Again’ comes from my experiences and observing my friends and their relationships. When things take a wrong turn and become fundamentally broken, it’s the hurt that inevitably follows.”
Reflecting on the differences between Trixter and his solo music, Pete explains, “Trixter was geared more towards a specific audience, aiming for that arena rock vibe from the start. It was marketable for the times. My solo music, however, is different. It’s more organic and earthy, a powerhouse of Americana.”
Pete Loran has maintained his popularity over the years and believes his fans will be thrilled with his new music. The single and video, “Around Again,” taps into the universal experience of broken relationships and the lessons learned from them. This relatable theme ensures the song will resonate with many.
Pete has such a great voice and the songs he has put out through the years really shows like he said his earthy and soul filled voice. I am glad he still puts stuff out.
