South Coast Indie 4 piece Holler return with the breezy and vibrant new single ‘Corner Store’. Taken from the upcoming debut EP ‘Ever Since I Met You’, the track gives a tantalising taste of what to expect across the full release.
Mixed by Ben Hillier and mastered by Phillip Marsden the new single showcases more of the bands whimsical, infectious indie sound that has gained them acclaim so far. A melting pot of chorus tinted guitars, warming bass, driving drums and silky, melancholy tinted vocals, ‘Corner Store’ balances its electrifying indie tendencies with relatable, emotive lyricism and catchy melodies to be both accessible and musically intricate.
Speaking about the track, the band explain: “This track was the first step in a new direction for us. I first started writing this song back at my family home, in my old bedroom, on my first ever acoustic guitar – I had no idea how this track would transform once I took it to the rest of the band. It is certainly a very personal song for me, but I also feel it has a sense of relatability to it. We are all incredibly proud of this track.”
Having opened for the likes of Corella, Coach Party and Swim School, the band have been building a feverish hype which they’re looking to build on with the release of new material. With press acclaim from the likes of Clout and Clunk, the band have already seen their music gain support from BBC Introducing and land a spot on Amazing Radio’s playlist.
