Singer, songwriter, and composer Skyy ZNO has officially released his debut album, ExitUs, a seven-track project that showcases his unique ability to blend cultures, genres, and personal experiences into one compelling musical journey. Rooted in Afro-Fusion but reaching far beyond traditional boundaries, the album reflects themes of identity, resilience, belonging, and the shared history of the African Diaspora.
Rather than limiting himself to a single style, Skyy ZNO brings together a wide range of musical influences, including Afrobeats, modern R&B, Urban Pop, Latin Soul, Dance, Rock, Reggae, Salsa, and Dominican Dembow. The result is a vibrant and cohesive body of work that feels both globally inspired and deeply personal.
Co-produced by Skyy ZNO alongside nine-time GRAMMY Award-winning producer Joe “The Butcher” Nicolo, ExitUs unfolds through seven interconnected tracks: “JADE (ExitUs),” “A Little Love,” “Ice Cold World,” “Pressure,” “Coming Home,” “B O,” and “Ascend.” Together, the songs tell a story of perseverance, self-discovery, and cultural pride, inviting listeners on an emotional journey that stretches across continents and generations.
Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Skyy ZNO discovered his passion for music at the age of seven after recording his very first song for a school mathematics project. By 14, he was performing with a music group, spending several years developing his stage presence before launching his solo career at 18.

His independent journey reached a major milestone in 2024 when he and his father founded ZNOVerse Entertainment LLC, creating a platform to support his artistic vision. Working alongside SMN Records, Lightyear Entertainment, and Virgin Music Group, Skyy has continued to expand his reach with a growing catalogue of successful releases.
His music has steadily attracted listeners around the world. Songs such as “Ledge” have surpassed 200,000 Spotify streams, while “Ándale (Butcher Mix)” has earned more than 110,000 streams. His R&B interpretation of “Carol of the Bells” has also found a strong audience, and the emotionally charged single “Hell with it All” has accumulated more than 600,000 views on YouTube, highlighting his ability to connect with audiences through both music and visual storytelling.
Joe Nicolo has praised Skyy ZNO’s artistic versatility, describing him as “the modern-day Prince” while noting the emotional qualities in his music that recall artists such as Juice WRLD and The Weeknd. Beyond music, Skyy’s creative influences extend into visual art and storytelling, drawing inspiration from figures like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy, and the imaginative worlds of anime.
At the heart of ExitUs is the philosophy, “One world, one rhythm.” The album celebrates the cultural connections that unite people across different backgrounds while encouraging listeners to embrace both their individuality and shared humanity.
With ExitUs, Skyy ZNO makes a confident first impression as an artist who refuses to be confined by genre or expectation. Rich in musical diversity, cultural influences, and heartfelt storytelling, the album establishes him as a fearless new creative voice with a vision that reaches far beyond borders.
