TÖME returns with a refreshing new release titled CC, teaming up with Nigerian artist Alpha P for a smooth neo-soul record that effortlessly blends modern R&B and Afrofusion.

From the first note, CC creates a calm and intimate atmosphere. The song doesn’t depend on loud production or dramatic moments to make an impression. Instead, it embraces simplicity, allowing the emotions and chemistry between both artists to take center stage.

TÖME’s vocals are soft, warm, and confident, perfectly complementing Alpha P’s laid-back and effortless delivery. Their voices flow naturally together, giving the song a relaxed feel that makes every moment sound genuine and easy to connect with. There is a natural balance between both artists that helps the record stand out.

The production remains minimal throughout, but that restraint works in the song’s favour. Every element feels carefully placed, creating enough space for the vocals and emotions to breathe. The result is a track that feels both personal and soothing, inviting listeners to simply sit back and enjoy the mood.

CC also continues to showcase TÖME’s ability to blend different cultural influences into her music. Drawing from Nigerian roots, French-Canadian experiences, and global sounds, she continues to shape a style that feels modern while remaining deeply personal. Her music often moves between R&B, alté influences, and Afrofusion, and this latest release further highlights her ability to create records that feel both elegant and emotionally grounded.

Over the years, TÖME has steadily built an impressive international profile, earning support from major platforms and performing on significant stages, including Burna Boy’s sold-out SSE Wembley Arena show. Yet despite these accomplishments, CC feels intimate and personal rather than grand or attention-seeking.

With CC, TÖME and Alpha P have delivered a song that proves great music does not always need to be loud to be powerful. It is smooth, soulful, and beautifully understated, offering listeners a warm and memorable experience that feels effortless from beginning to end.
