One of the UK’s most exciting and versatile UK artists, French The Kid returns with his explosive and emotional new single “Ghosts”. Alongside this he has announced his forthcoming album ‘Can’t Kill Bill’ due Friday 12th June, which follows on from his 2023 mixtape “No Signal”.

“Ghosts” taps straight into French The Kid’s signature lane. Emotional honesty wrapped in a powerful, anthemic chorus that sticks instantly. Built around a strong, intense hook and clean melodic delivery, it balances vulnerability with confidence in a way that feels authentic to his core audience. Sonically it leans back into the foundations of what fans connected with early, while still feeling elevated. Visually and creatively, it is stripped back and intentional, reinforcing the record’s message and taking things back to basics.

French The Kid has had some incredible success with singles such as “Thrill”, “Single Player” and “Can’t Feel My Face” along with racking up over 100m streams from freestyles that has continuously captivated his growing, passionate fan-base.  He has previously gained support from Hunger Magazine, Wonderland Magazine, NME, Clash Magazine, BBC Radio 1Xtra, and BBC Radio 1.

The new single ‘Ghosts’ will open up the door of what’s to come from French The Kid’s album, reflecting his growth and insight into his journey.

French The Kid states ““Ghosts’ is one of those records that just came from a real place. It’s about what stays with you, even when you’re moving forward. I wanted it to feel honest, but still powerful.”

    Bio

At 26, French The Kid stands as one of the UK’s most distinctive and consistently evolving artists. Raised in Romford, Essex, between council estates and traveller sites, his journey into music was never conventional. Time spent growing up in the South West of France added another layer to his identity, shaping a sound that feels both raw and globally aware. There is a realness to him that resonates. No façade, just honesty in the music.

Since breaking through with his Instagram freestyles in 2018, French The Kid has built a deep and loyal fanbase. Those freestyles now sit close to 100 million streams, laying the foundation for a catalogue that continues to grow with intent. Records like “Thrill”, “Single Player” and “Can’t Feel My Face” have become staples for his audience, combining melodic strength with introspective storytelling and instantly recognisable hooks.

His trajectory has translated far beyond streaming. International tours stretching from multiple sold out shows in Germany to a sold out Australia tour, have cemented his ability to connect in the real world, culminating in a sold out headline show at KOKO in Camden. Collaborations with artists including Clean Bandit, Rema, Bugzy Malone, Russ Millions and Bad Boy Chiller Crew and many others reflect both his versatility and the respect he commands across scenes

His last body of work, No Signal, marked a defining chapter. Now, as he steps into his next phase, the focus is sharper than ever. Each release feels considered, building towards a catalogue that is not just current, but lasting.

French The Kid – GhostsFrench The Kid is not chasing moments. He is creating them, on his own terms, with a sound and story that continue to evolve.
