International music collective MTRSS (Mori Torori Rocket Science Society) has released “Destiny’s Conundrum”, the first single from their groundbreaking environmental music-film project, SACREBLEU. The track is available now on all major streaming platforms via Listen Here.
Led by Ilya Lagutenko — acclaimed producer and frontman of Russian rock band Mumiy Troll — MTRSS began as a Tokyo-based experiment among touring musicians. The group has since grown into a global collective known for analog-rich soundscapes, emotionally charged music, and socially conscious creative direction.
A Musical and Visual Call to Action
“Destiny’s Conundrum” sets the tone for SACREBLEU, a nine-part instrumental visual album aimed at inspiring environmental awareness and emotional reconnection with nature. The cinematic project is directed by Clément Oberto and brings together creators from the USA, France, Argentina, Colombia, and beyond.
The film opens with the haunting image of a childlike figure emerging from the ocean with a plastic bag over his head — a metaphor for society’s blindness to environmental degradation. Through surreal, poetic imagery and rich sonic layers, SACREBLEU explores urgent themes such as:
