From the Carpathian Mountains emerges Vivi Ash, a musical enigma whose voice carries the influence of ancient history and the pulse of modern pop. On the 19th May 2025, she unveiled her debut Don’t Cry EP, a five-track journey that dances between pop, anti-pop, indie pop, and alternative. The EP carries a strong mood set to leave a mark on listener’s.

The Don’t Cry EP is full of confidence, interwoven with delicate melodies that will linger in listeners’ ears. Its title track, Don’t Cry, is a hypnotic ballad where acoustic guitar cradles Vivi Ash’s voice, a voice that feels like it’s seen heartbreak’s final act and now watches from the wings, half-smiling. Each track holds the maturity of a third platinum record, brimming with the quiet power of an artist who leaves interpretation to the listener.

Vivi Ash’s origin as an artist feels like folklore: born from a Carpathian breeze, raised among speaking trees and silent molfars, she crafts music naturally. Her name, Ash, evokes the faint trace of something once ablaze, a testament to beauty’s lasting imprint. Before this EP, she scattered genre-defying singles like breadcrumbs: the neon-tinged Midnight Rendezvous, the fierce Thunder Goddess, and the enigmatic Christmas Revelations EP, proving her mystery thrives year-round. Her sound is a paradox, modern yet timeless, pop yet arcane, familiar yet elusive.
