The Ivy and Lyncs are joining forces for their captivating new single & video, “Don’t Fall Asleep To This.” This release marks an exciting prelude to their upcoming North America tour, kicking off on March 25th in Albuquerque, and hitting major cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and Nashville, before wrapping up in San Antonio on April 23rd.

The collaboration between The Ivy’s Wyatt Clem (vocals/guitar) and Shawn Abhari (synth/bass) and Lyncs’ Jacqueline Hynes (vocals/multi-instrumentalist) was born serendipitously during a writing trip in LA. “Don’t Fall Asleep To This” showcases the combined indie-pop brilliance of both acts, delivering a heartfelt ode to the challenges and hopes of long-distance relationships. With its blend of soothing melodies and a driving, pulsating beat, the track strikes a perfect balance—hypnotic in its intimacy yet bursting with energetic allure.

“Working with The Ivy on ‘Don’t Fall Asleep To This’ was an incredible experience,” Lyncs shares. “The song started with a mesmerizing, lullaby-like synthesizer. Initially, we leaned into that dreamy, slow vibe, but by the second day, we transformed it into something more upbeat and driving, which gave it that dynamic energy that matched both our sounds.” Reflecting on the collaboration, The Ivy adds, “The writing process felt so natural and seamless. We’re thrilled with what we created together.”

ABOUT THE IVY:
The Ivy is the brainchild of Tulsa-based musicians and producers Wyatt Clem and Shawn Abhari, who first crossed paths at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Oklahoma City. Their instant creative spark ignited a journey of relentless experimentation and sonic boundary-pushing. Since that fateful meeting, Wyatt and Shawn have honed a sound that’s as fresh as it is addictive, blending sharp songwriting with innovative production.

They made their debut as The Ivy in 2017 with viral singles like “Gold” and “Have You Ever Been In Love.” Building on this momentum, they went on to release three EPs and their 2024 debut album, A Door Still Open, solidifying their place as one of indie-pop’s most compelling acts. Enchanting audiences with their high-energy live performances, they’ve headlined their own US tour, co-headlined with DBMK, and shared stages with acts like Grayscale, The Band CAMINO, and LANY.

ABOUT LYNCS:
Lyncs, the musical project of American artist Jacqueline Hynes, hails from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Her musical journey began at the age of five with piano and violin, eventually evolving into writing and producing her own music.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Lorde, The 1975, and The Japanese House, Lyncs crafts dreamy choruses, layered electronic elements, and infectious melodies. Her music delves into themes of relationships, nostalgia, and self-discovery, creating a soundscape that resonates deeply with listeners.

In 2019, Lyncs gained acclaim for her debut EP, “Every Time I Find The Meaning Of Life It Changes,” known for its down-to-earth sound and heartfelt lyrics. She followed up with singles like “just being honest,” “Prom Queen,” and “Obvious,” collaborating with producers Keith Varon and Rob Ernst. In 2025, Lyncs further showcased her evolving artistry with the release of her third EP, SICK + SIN, solidifying her place as a rising voice in the indie-pop scene.
