What influences you as a musician?

Literally everything! Everything that I touch, taste, feel and hear! I really could transform anything in to art. I’m constantly looking at life through an artistic lens.

How do you feel your music has grown or changed since the split of The Blancos?

I feel like I’m just all around better! I’m a better singer, producer, writer, and artist than I was back then. I’ve grown so much personally and artistically. I don’t force things like I used to and my music flows more naturally now! I’m in my prime and I feel the best I ever have. I believe “Orbs” is a reflection of that growth!

What do you like the most about your new EP and what are the challenges you faced at the course of recording and releasing this EP?

I like the raw passion of it! I can hear my soul speak on this EP! I faced no challenges in the process of creating “Orbs”! It came together so naturally and beautifully, almost like some divine intelligence was guiding me through it!

What motivated you to go into music and how long have you been in the music industry?

I’ve always loved music since I was a kid! In fact, I started playing guitar at 10 years old. I’ve been in the music industry for nine years. I was teenager when I got my shot in the music biz and the rest has been history. I am thankful for this opportunity!

What inspired your new EP and why the name Orbs?

It was inspired by a process of deep healing from my past traumas. It was the overcoming of “addiction”, my “identity” and my deep dark “traumas”! I named the EP, Orbs, because every time I closed my eyes while listening to the music, I could see light orbs! It was like there was spherical celestial bodies in the darkness guiding me through the process. It was a very spiritual thing for me.

Covid-19 has been ravaging the world with a lot of restrictions and changes in people’s way of life. How has this global pandemic affected your career and lifestyle in general?

It has completely changed my life for the better! Quarantining gave me no choice but to look at myself. I had to become okay with the parts of me I didn’t like and I had to change certain parts of my life that weren’t working anymore. I was forced to grow. This EP was inspired by that process!

What has always been your greatest challenge as an artist?

Not letting society, culture or need for validation limit my art. Art is the formless experiencing form. Art is abstract! Art should not have boundaries.

Who are your biggest influences in the music industry and why?

Kanye West because he’s a true artist and he cares about moving music forward and he’s unapologetically himself. His music is amazing and I feel like we think about things very similarly.

Do you have any upcoming project that you may wish to share with us? If yes! Can you briefly share an insight on that?

No, my focus is on ORBS right now.

What message do you have for all your fans and supporters all over the world?

My message is that you are enough, you are beautiful no matter who you are. No matter what you’ve done, no matter what you’ve been judged for doing, no matter if you have been bullied, no matter how much you’ve been told you can’t. I believe in you and I think you can! The key to unity is not choosing a side, but loving everybody unconditionally, right where they are at
