Astro is on top of the world thanks to Travis Scott. This week, the Houston rapper’s third album, AstroWorld elevates to the no. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Now as the second largest debut in 2018, the album moved 537,000 units in its first week. 270,000 of that total are in traditional sales. This is Scott’s second no.1 debut. Congrats.
In related news, props go to Mac Miller for his fifth consecutive top five debut, as his latest effort Swimming floats at no. 3 with 66,000 units (30,000 traditional sales).
Meanwhile, YG earned his third consecutive top 10 debut with his Stay Dangerous album. The project comes in at no. 10 this week with 56,000 units (11,000 traditional sales).
