Fast rising Nigerian Afro Solk songstress, Ewa Cole has released her debut EP titled “Queen of Afro Solk” (QOAS).This project involves up-beat and mid-rhythm melodies motivated by the rich culture and decent variety of African music.
On ‘QOAS’, Ewa Cole explained Afro Solk as she serves a rich mix of Soul, RnB and Afro-Fusion, all bound in English and her native language, Yoruba.
The 8-track EP includes a few fascinating highpoints, including an eye catching introduction in “Call”, “Wayo”, and “Asiko”; a heavenly conveyance in “Kana”, an astounding move vibe in “Gbese”, just as a sublime Afro season in “Wogor”. Different tracks “Pepeye” and “Ibukun” help total what is in general, a smooth, various and adaptable EP.
In spite of the fact that her “Sovereign of Afro Solk” (QOAS) is sonically and expressively rich, on account of gifted hit makers like Lussh, Teezsmart, and Tayoristar, Ewa Cole’s affinity for up and mid-beat records sparkles splendidly through in this EP.
