Apparently, things have not been all rosy at Stonebwoy’s Bhimnation Music Group (BMG) as all the speculations about matters there, ended up with an official release confirming it. The said internal rankles at Stonebwoy’s turned out to be not just mere rumors, as the dancehall award winning act was trying to portray. Stonebwoy in his recent post on social media confirmed the removal of his afro beats singer, Kelvyn Boy from his Bhimnation record label, which somehow vindicates the reports of certain issues between the two.
The previous reports had it that, the Stonebwoy and his label signee, Kelvyn Boy had some issues between them owing to Kelvyn Boy’s conduct, thus for showing some form of disrespect towards Stonebwoy. Though Stonebwoy came out clearly debunking the rumor, the current state of Kelvyn Boy according to the official statement, mentioned Kelvyn Boy’s conduct as one of the major underlining factors for the action. The official statement citing the expiry of contracts as one of the reasons also disclosed: “…the company has considered the expired status of the Agreement as well as the conduct of Kelvyn Boy during its tenure, and has decided not to trigger the option.”
Meanwhile, though the afro beats sensation, Kelvyn Boy has not given a statement on this, his recent social media post some few minutes after Stonebwoy made the publication is quite thought striking. The post was a throwback video of himself singing a praises song, your guess is as good as mine.
